We built our bathroom infrared heaters for one reason: to live in that sauna-like atmosphere and keep on humming. IPX5 waterproof? Sure, that’s just the starting line. But a rating alone doesn’t guarantee longevity. So before a single unit leaves our shop, we put it through the wringer with brutal heat-and-humidity aging tests. Power, Voltage, and Size—All Under Control The heart of this thing is a high-output infrared tube. It throws off serious heat fast, but stays compact. We matched the power and voltage to the real-world limits of commercial bathroom wiring, so it hits target temperature quickly without tripping breakers. And the footprint? It’s tight. Because when you’re mounting on a ceiling or a wall, space is at a premium. This isn’t some bulky beast. It’s a focused heat source that slips into spots other heaters can’t touch. Quartz, Halogen, and the R7s Base We chose a halogen-filled quartz tube for one main reason: it stays steady under pressure. Quartz handles the shock of rapid on-off cycles way better than glass, and the halogen cycle keeps the filament clean so output stays consistent over time. Then there’s the R7s base. Practical choice. It gives you a solid, low-resistance connection and makes installation a straight drop-in. No messing around with complicated wiring lugs. Built to Survive the Bathroom Steam is the silent killer in bathrooms. IPX5 keeps jets of water out, but it doesn’t stop slow-motion corrosion from humidity. That’s why we bake every unit in a controlled chamber—high heat, high humidity—to force out the failures before they happen. We want to see weak points in the seals, terminals, and housing now, not in your customer’s bathroom later. Here’s the trade-off: a high-power infrared heater runs hot. So you’ve got to make sure the mounting surface and enclosure have proper airflow or heat sinking. We age-test every unit to weed out the weak ones, so your installation doesn’t burn out prematurely. The result? A heater that’s ready to wire up, spec out, and take a beating. We build it to last. You install it with confidence.
