
We built this heater for the kind of places where equipment gets hammered day in and day out. The mission was straightforward: deliver serious, pinpointed heat—and make sure it doesn’t become a fire risk if it gets knocked over. Here’s the power setup. It runs at 2500W on a 400V supply, the standard voltage you’ll find across most European industrial grids. That means you can run a high-wattage load without having to overhaul your mains. The unit itself is compact—300mm long and just 10mm in diameter. That tight size concentrates the heat into a small area, which is exactly what you need when you’re aiming for a specific spot. Inside, the tube is a halogen element housed in quartz. This build can handle the constant shock of heating up and cooling down without cracking under pressure. Safety is built-in, not bolted on. If the heater tips past its safe limit, a hard-wired thermal cut-off trips instantly, cutting power to the element. It’s non-resettable, so you have to physically set the unit back upright before it will work again. For the wiring, we went with an R7s connector. It’s a standard industrial connection that locks in place, so vibration won’t shake it loose. This configuration is made for jobs like PET blowing, plastic welding, or curing. The focused heat keeps cycle times moving fast. But there’s a trade-off. That 2500W density throws off a lot of local heat, so your machine’s cooling system needs to be up to the task of handling the temperature rise.
